Today is July 3, Independence Day! Or, the day before Independence Day, rather, but because July 4 falls on a Saturday this year, we’re taking the day off. (We’ll probably spend the day watching patriotic movies, so it’s not totally a vacation day.) So check back Monday for the usual features, reviews, and news, including a sweat-drenched look at Magic Mike XXL’s weird notions of female pleasure and an interview with Penelope Spheeris about her Decline Of Western Civilization trilogy. We’ve got other great stuff in store for next week, too, including our Movie Of The Week look at Grizzly Man, which is a great movie that you should definitely not watch over lunch, as I have learned the hard way.
