The fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy is currently being painstakingly pieced together in a big studio in the U.K.—at least if the pictures posted today by TMZ show what they seem to show. Yesterday, TMZ featured a gallery of photos taken on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. Today, the website has another gallery of photos taken on the floor of whatever shop is being used to build the movie’s models, sets, and creatures. Among those pictures are some shots of what appears to be the Millennium Falcon, the famed YT-1300 light freighter that Han Solo won from Lando Calrissian in a game of sabacc. When completed, the Falcon is capable of completing the Kessel Run in less that twelve parsecs. But first, the glue has to dry. Also, some sort of nylon-bushing-to-machine-screw dowel may be required. It’s hard to tell from the picture above.
